Farndon Boathouse Bar & Kitchen Testimonials

Last night my husband and I had a meal at your lovely restaurant and having eaten several times at Tom Browns we found the experience of eating at Farndon wonderful and even better than at Gunthorpe , which takes some doing. The setting is just right, soft lighting and music, I was sat at a radiator which was great as I like to be warm, the tables were not too close together so as not to hear other conversation
The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu, we tried the Scallops between us and had the early bird menu. I would normally have a chicken dish but it was not on the menu so I tried the lasagne which was fresh and delicious, my husband had the battered fish which again was fresh and enjoyable.
We were not rushed or felt we had to hurry and were given time between courses which we requested
We would certainly recommend the restaurant to our friends and we will visit again, we have never been ones for eating out a lot as I work in catering and I am quite particular about eating out as I am not good at paying for something I could make myself - so service and attitude of staff are also very important to me. The food is good value for money and very carefully prepared and presented.......... well done to everyone

Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff for a great time on Saturday night at the Boat House.
We all had such a lovely evening and all the team were great. The food was lovely, the service was great and it couldn't have been any better than it was.

Thank you very much for making my daughter's birthday celebration such an enjoyable occasion at The Farndon Boathouse 27th February. All the staff were very friendly and helpful even when I had to make some changes to the orders they did it without any problems.
So thank you once again for looking after us so well and for making the evening a very memorable one for all of us.
