I recently visited this salon with a friend for the first time. From the moment we arrived we were put at ease from the friendly reception we received from the owner Paul.Every member of staff we saw that day was pleasent and friendly and the whole atmosphere was a pleasure to be in. When we had our consultations with the stylists we found them very easy to talk to and very knowledgable on the cuts and techniques which would most benefit us.I also have to give a special mention to the young man who gave us the most wonderful head massage while washing our hair and his explanation of the products he was using and why he was using them was very handy. My friend commented after we left that it was the best cut she had had in years and that she would be sure to recommend the salon to friends. I feel that we got top rate treatment and results but we made new friends with the staff we met. I would highly recommend the experience of Envy hair and nail studio to everyone.

Envy is simply the best, I have been to the top hair salons in Lincoln and often come away dissappointed and I can honestly say Envy is the best, they simply know exactly what color and cut you need. I have never been so pleased with my hair since going to the Salon 10 months ago, the Paul Mitchell Colours are amazing. I was interested in Awapuhi Wild Ginger and googled it. Envy came up so I called the salon. The owner, Paul was so professional! He explained all of the benefits to the Awapuhi, and explained how to use it etc etc...I was so impressed because at this point I hadn't committed to buy the shampoo but he was so knowledgeable and professional about his products, that I felt i could buy with complete confidence!I purchased them over the phone and they arrived the next day! I drive my wife 54 miles to see Paul at Envy. She's in her 60's but loves the way he makes her feel young!His junior stylist Stacey is a sweetheart and we always feel welcome, like nothing is too much trouble.The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing and we always get exactly what we ask for. Even a healthy dose of honesty if Paul or Stacey think that the style won't suit!!There's a charming young man in there now, Luke. He's a character and gives a fabulous massage. I would recommend Envy to anyone and everyone who asked for advise. Their colours and service are second to none and we would never go anywhere else.

Envy is an amazing salon with quality services and products. I’ve had my hair cut by all the staff over the last few years and I’ve never had a bad job. Recently I decided to grow my hair long and Paul has been amazing with his advice, cutting and styling skills for those in-between styles.I’d definitely recommend Envy to everyone, not only do you get great service but the coffee is fantastic!!I won’t let anyone else touch my hair now its long and to prove that point I travelled from Newcastle just to get it cut at envy. The way I see it saving a couple of quid going to a closer salon is not worth the risk!
Paul has been doing my hair since way back when, he saved me from one of my many disaster DIY hair colouring... He was working in a salon in town and when he set up on his own I followed him, when I go to envy I always feel at ease and relaxed, many a time I have gone into the salon (over the last 8 years) with some zany new celeb hairstyle that I think will transform me lol....Paul will advise me and explain in depth that yes he can do this but as he knows me so well I will be back ....As paul well knows he will get a text asking can I pop back, that's what I love about Paul he is honest and always makes me feel at ease... The staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. My mum and sister also use the salon and many of my work colleagues.
I feel it is always hard to find a hairdresser that you are completely satisfied everytime you go, well that was the case until i started going to 'Envy'. Paul and his staff are second to none!! When i have my hair done i like to feel like im being pampered and the minute you walk into the salon that is exactly what you get, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. From the minute you walk in you feel relaxed and you know that by the time Paul has finished working his magic you will feel (and look) like a million dollars. After years of using different hairdressers and always thinking "it's OK but I don't love it" I discovered Paul at Envy. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, they remember you and value your loyalty. Paul has been cutting, colouring and doing wonderful things with my hair for about 6 or 7 years now and I always get comments about how nice it looks and how well it's been cut. Paul and his team are always happy go go the extra mile too, after having my back operation I was unable to lift my arms so he collected me from home, took me to the salon to have my hair washed and blow dried and then took me home again; I know I am not the only one he has done this for but it made me feel very valued as a customer and I really did appreciate the effort he went to.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul and his team and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
This is a fantastic hair salon. The Staff are always friendly and welcoming as well as Professional. The interior of the salon sets a calming and inviting atmosphere.I get my hair done here all the time and will not go to any other salon. The Paul Mitchell products are great. The hair dye is amazing as it does not fade and last for 6 to 8 weeks. A lot of hard work is put in by everyone at Envy and it shows in the high quality of service I recieve time after time. I always walk away happy with the finished outcome, and look forward to going back each time.
Before I first visited Envy my hair was lacking any style as I'm always nervous about going too short . Paul listened to what I didnt want and created a style that managed to lift my fine hair without me feeling I'd had it all cut off. Envy also put highlights in my hair without it looking stripey! Best my hair has ever looked. I've been a client for nearly 2yrs now & all the salon staff are friendly, its a great atmosphere and I travel from Lincoln just to go to Envy.
The service at Envy is excellent. I have taken many of my friends there and they treat each and every one of us as an idividual. They took the time to sit down with me and find out what I did and didn't like about my hair, and addressed my needs accordingly. They are so friendly, I've been to other salons before but they all seem to treat me like they just want me out of the door so they can get the next customer on the seat! Paul's professionalism is next to none and I have never been so delighted with my finish. Having tasted the luxury and atmosphere at Envy I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! 5*
Paul and his team really know how to make you feel special. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Wether you want a simple trim or something completly new they are definitely worth a visit. I was sick and tired of being rushed and having the same old cut at my usual salon....Paul took the time and effort and gave me a completly new look and ive never looked back.
I love everything about Envy, been going there for a while now. Paul is brilliant as are all the staff. I'm useless at making appointments and often phone up begging for them to fit me in - which they always do. End product is always brilliant especially when I walk in looking like I've been pulled through a hedge backwards!! Prices are also good and the loyalty card is great. I can not recommend them enough.
I started going to Envy a few months ago after moving to the area. The staff are lovely and friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Sometimes going into a new salon can be intimidating but not here. Even though I have a young girl do my hair, all the staff have spoken to me even the most senior ones including the owners. I feel very welcome when I go in, and they serve my favourite rombout coffee!

If I had a decent head of hair I would be a regular customer at Envy. It is a very professional salon and the staff have all the needs of their customers at heart; from a relaxed, warm and friendly service, to a very high standard of work.
Well, I beat Adele B above, I travel over from Guernsey in the Channel Islands to have my hair done by Paul, in the words of Tina Turner, "Heʼs simply the best" he instinctively knows what suits ones hair but at the same time does not try to impose his views upon you. The salon is professional yet friendly and makes you feel like part of the family, everything is clean and fresh and the products are second to none, so much so that I purchase all my Paul Mitchel products from their on line store, the customer service is amazing, they have no problems, only solutions and if they can find a way to help you they will, even if it means Paul coming in at 7.00 a.m. to accommodate you. Well done Envy, you are fab !!
I travel to Newark from Guernsey at least 3 times a year to have my hair done by Paul and his team. I am always greeted with a warm welcome. The staff are friendly and polite and will do all they can to help you. The seating area upstairs is an excellant idea, it is so nice to sit comfortably with a complimentary drink while you wait for your colour to take.The customer service is excellant and I donʼt know one member of staff that wouldnʼt go out of their way to help you.I certainly wouldnʼt go anywhere else!
I had an appointment for a colour last week and this salon has a separate colour lounge upstairs. I thought this was great because once they had applied my colour, I was able to go a sit in comfort without having to look at myself with foli on my head! And it was away from people looking in the window. There were several of us having our hair done at once and we all sat around having a laugh and a joke, even though we didnʼt know each other. It made a really relaxed friendly atmosphere. Just thought it was worth a mention as it was definitely different and I was impressed. Anyone who gets a little bit embarrassed looking silly with colour should try here.
I travel over 205 miles every 6 to 8 weeks to have my hair done at this salon. The owner, Paul used to cut my hair when he lived in Hampshire. After trying several salons locally, I found the only way to get my hair the way I want it was to follow him. I got married in June this year and he travelled all the way down with a member of staff to accomodate me, my bridesmaids and my mum! You should definitely use this salon, not only are the staff friendly and professional, the hairdressing is superb and the customer service excellent.
