We have eaten frequently at the Ashiana and we are very lucky to have such a fantastic Indian Restaurant so close. I have eaten at Indian restaurants all over the world and this is one of the best. The food is consistently excellent and the service is attentive and yet relaxed, price is very good as well although I have heard some numpties expressing a little disquiet as they "think it is expensive compared to Tuxford", guffaw! Well they can keep their MSG takeaway drowned in chilli powder and salt, I and more diserning dinners will go to the Ashiana thank you very much. It is a shame that it can be a little quiet at times but when established it will be hard to get a table without booking in advance if Newark people wake up and smell the quality spices!
