The Kymin can be seen from most places in town and from the A40 approaches. The Round House was constructed by gentlemen of Monmouthfor their luncheon club and commands breathtaking views across seven counties of England and Wales. Owned by the National Trust, it is open to visitors and furnished as it was at the time of Nelson's visit in 1802. Nearby is the quirky Naval Temple. Built in 1800, its inscriptions laud over the defeated navies of Britain's enemies of the late 17th and 18th centuries. Roundhouse open: 11am to 4pm Saturday to Monday, end March to October, Admission Free. Grounds open daily.
