Live on the Wye is on the 15th and is just fantastic this year! Its only here for one day so make sure you don’t miss it. Also starting on the 15th is the Chepstow Festival, which is on until 13th July. Loads of brilliant events for everyone, there really is no excuse to be bored at home with all the events coming up at the moment.
As well as the festivals we still have all our small weekly events to remember, there really is something for all age groups. Under Fives Story Time is held at Usk and Monmouth weekly, it’s a great way to get your little ones interacting with other children even before they start school. It’s also a great chance for you to catch up with the other parents while the kids are occupied by a fascinating story!
Breast Cancer affects more people than most of us could comprehend. So for anyone who has been affected by breast cancer themselves or who has lost someone to breast cancer there is a support group held at Bridges Community Centre every Wednesday. And now here’s a few for the senior citizens in Monmouth. Monmouth Social Circles is held every Thursday and is a perfect opportunity to catch up with fellow senior citizens! There’s also an Intergenerational Tea Dance, an Over 55 Social Club AND a Knit & Natter Group!
