Well what a fantastic day in Monmouth yesterday for the arrival of the Olympic flame in Wales! The town looked fantastic, everyone was happy, the sun shone and it was a great spectacle for Wales!

Ahead of New York, Moscow, Paris, Rome, Beijing and Berlin, the global digital age reaches a new landmark this week as Monmouth, Wales officially becomes the world’s first Wikipedia town on Saturday 19 May.

Usk Festival is a series of events in and around Usk at the end of June, celebrating this great place. Starting with the Duck race, with the famous Open Garden weekend in the middle and even a Jazz night with 2 Jazz legends - Back to Back

A magical production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ in the open air, Directed by Stephan Bessant. The Little English Theatre is an exciting new project from an established professional theatre company based in Worcestershire.

With only 3 games to go and 2 games in hand Monmouth Town F.C. show their loss of match practise after the last 3 weeks off due to the weather. With a 1-1 draw against Dinas Powys at home, it's only 3 points to go to finish as league champions.

The annual Junior Football tournament hosted by Monmouth Town F.C. Juniors is being held at the Monmouth School Comprehensive School playing fields on 23rd and 24th June. We need some help please with volunteers for the tournament.

The final home match of the season and an opportunity for Monmouth Town F.C. to celebrate promotion to Welsh League Division 1. After the league match there will be the Kevin Johnson Charity Shield match to raise funds for St. David's Hospice.
