Harry became suddenly ill and after a visit to the Doctors was told he had a virus. The next day he was admitted to hospital as he was struggling to breathe. It was assumed at this point that Harry had had an asthma attack. However, once he had been taken off the nebuliser and oxygen, Harry took a turn for the worse.

Later tests brought a shocking result, showing that Harry had suffered massive brain stem damage and once he was taken off of life support he would not survive.

Harry's life support was switched off on 31st March 2009. Finding their was no service within Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas to offer help specifically to bereaved children, Harryâs Rainbow was formed, to lighten the burden of families affected by such a tragedy and support children who had suffered a loss of an imminent family member.

To help raise money for this essential service, Teresa Diamond, a local singer songwriter has written and arranged a spectacular charity single â One More Angel. Produced by Gawaine Parker.

One More Angel, is performed by 100 children from Milton Keynes, and is written to try and give a little comfort to those who are suffering bereavement, help raise the profile of an amazing local charity and also raise funds to help them continue the awesome work they are already doing throughout the city.

We would like to invite you to attend a pre-release performance of One More Angel on Monday 24th March at 4pm in Midsummer Place. 12 year old Lydia Singer takes the lead vocal, backed by the choir from Spirit, a non-profit making performance group set up by Teresa to fund raise for local charities and community projects, and sponsored by Marshall Amplification.

They are joined by choirs from St Mary Magdalene Catholic School- Greenleys, St Andrews C of E Infant School-Great Linford Village, Giffard Park Primary School and Great Linford Combined School. Also lending their beautiful voices to the track are up and coming local girl band âUnionâ, made up from sisters Danielle & Natasha Lauderdale and Sasha and Natalie OJ. Harry's sister Jessica Mould also performs on this track.

For more information or to let us know you're planning to attend please contact Teresa on 07800 517507 or at teresa_diamond@sky.com !

One More Angel is due for release on Monday 31st March and will be available to download through iTunes at only 79p. We have created an event on Face Book that people can join and keep up to speed on download details. The link is https://www.facebook.com/events/609163162473356/?fref=ts

The money raised from the sale of the single will go towards the ongoing work that Harryâs Rainbow provides, including funded days out for bereaved children helping them find a little peace and comfort through times of such darkness. Harryâs Rainbow currently support around 35 families in the Mk and surrounding areas. The support they offer includes providing free books and resources and access to a monthly rainbow group where all the children and families can meet and share experiences whilst encouraging the children to have fun with sports, games and crafts. The charity aim to take the children and families on around 3-4 trips a year which has included Legoland and a family Christmas party. A longterm goal of Harryâs Rainbow is to set up a family fund to assist families with the expenses that occur seeking counselling and necessary traveling after the loss of an imminent relative!

We hope we can rely on your support.
