Before my son started I visiting numerous nurseries (across all price&facility ranges) and Wellies won hands down and I have not been proven wrong, in fact my expectations have been met and more.Wellies is a very warm and homely nursery, both staff and owner/manager alike are very approachable and knowledgeable. The nursery is well managed, safe and extremely professional in all aspects of childcare. I was dreading the day my son went to nursery, but I soon saw how much he enjoyed it and as I'm perfectly happy with the nursery its a pleasure to take him. In fact even though I will not be working, we plan to arrange our second child to attend nursery to benefit from what Wellies offer. I would recommend Wellies Day Nursery to anyone.
Choosing a nursery for your child is a big decision. As soon as I visited Wellies I knew that it was the right place for my child (eventually to become children!). Each room is tailored to provide exactly what the children of that age group need. The staff are approachable, kind and clearly love the children whilst providing the boundaries and discipline that they all need. The staff turnover is very low and most of the staff that cared for my first child were still there 3 years later to care for my second one. I love that the nursery is on a farm and that the kids are surrounded by countryside and animals. The kids get a good varied, home cooked diet that's not dictated at the national level. Security is good too with a fingerprint activated door lock. Any negatives? When you've got too happy children who've loved going to nursery it's hard to see any! Antoinette - Mummy to Tom & Daniel
