Take part in the London Marathon and run to rebuild lives!
Milton Keynes charity the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) still has guaranteed places available for the Flora London Marathon taking place on 26th April 2009.
A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, taking part will help more than 40,000 people rebuild full, active, and independent lives after paralysis.
Through our Rebuilding Lives Through Sports project (RLTS), half of the funds raised by our 2009 runners will be used to provide wheelchair users with greater opportunities to get into sport at grass routes level. Projects already funded through RLTS include Adaptive Snowsports Milton Keynes, who received £10,000 to increase their range of adaptive ski equipment, ensuring even more wheelchair users get to experience and enjoy the thrill of downhill skiing.
To apply for a place in the 2009 London Marathon, please call Claire Robinson on: 0845 678 6633 ext 222 or email: c.robinson@spinal.co.uk

Christmas Greetings.
Every year we send our work colleagues a card to pass on our Christmas greetings, this year Milton Keynes charity the Spinal Injuries Association are asking you to send your greeting in an alternative way. Instead of sending cards, which after all will be thrown away in January, SIA can supply you with a large festive poster to put up on your office wall where everyone can collectively write their Christmas greetings for all to see. In return we simply ask that you donate the money you would have spent
on cards to SIA instead. We will even supply a small donation box along with the poster. With Christmas fast approaching we are looking to secure support from local companies for this new initiative. Every year in the UK around 1,000 experience a spinal injury. The Spinal Injuries Association helps people to rebuild full, active and independent lives after paralysis.
To get your Christmas Greetings poster and donation box, please call Elizabeth Wright on: 0845 678 6633 ext 0000 or email e.wright@spinal.co.uk
