When you arrive at Stapleford Park Country House Hotel, down its sweeping driveway with stunning countryside views, you know that you are somewhere special. If you are looking for sumptuous surroundings, top class service and outstanding food, then I have to recommend Stapleford Park. I recently had Sunday lunch there, starting with pre dinner drinks in one of the lounges, lunch in the Grinling Gibbons restaurant itself and coffee on the terrace. The hotel is beautifully decorated in stunning period décor; the staff are very attentive and knowledgeable but never intrusive. The food for Sunday lunch was simply outstanding and included traditional and more unique choices. I would definitely recommend dining at Stapleford, whether it be for Sunday lunch or for a special occasion.
