Being Melton Mowbray's only remaining independent craft bakery, we have found a need for quality breads with taste and consistency that was only found in our mother's days. Yet today, we have archived this aim to produce 'Bread like mother used to make' with the quality and all the taste, without additions of chemicals.
We use only the finest ingredients available using traditional methods make by our craftsman bakers. We do not use any animal fats or Genetically Modified ingredients.
We make around 60 varieties of flavoured and continental breads, so if you fancy something a little different why not try American Corn Bread made with 50% maize and sunflower seeds or why not try our authentic Irish Soda bread, made to a true recipe using authentic Irish ingredients, and the list goes on and on and on!

Kings Road Bakery have been established in our current bakery in Melton Mowbray for approximately 17 years. We provide a full wholesale service delivering to hotels, pubs, canteens, function caterers, shops and in fact anyone within the catering trade that requires excellent bread made with care.
In the near future, we will be moving to our newly built and designed bakery (still here in Melton Mowbray), from where we will be providing a bakery school for keen and eager people wanting to learn the production of hand made breads from around the world.
