ACE Driving School was established in 1997 and is based in Melton Mowbray. The school is run by Andrew Charles DSA ADI, who is a GRADE SIX INSTRUCTOR. This is the highest grade possible on the check test for driving instructors. He is also a professional Pass Plus registered instructor.
ACE Driving School uses a BMW 120 for tuition, which you may have seen on the roads around Melton Mowbray. It offers top quality driving tuition to people who want to learn to drive, and pass both the theory and the practical driving tests quickly and with the minimum of fuss.
THE DRIVING TEST
The Practical Driving Test is getting harder and longer, and a high standard must be reached to pass. At ACE Driving School lessons are designed to help you reach that standard. You will have the same instructor and drive the same car for the duration of your course of driving lessons, and use the same car for the Practical Driving Test.
ACE Driving School aims to teach you to drive to a high standard on all types of road and in all traffic conditions. They offer the best instruction and value for money - be aware of schools that offer cheap lessons or packages, as you could end up having more lessons, taking longer and paying out more money in the long term, in order to reach test standard.

THEORY TEST HELP
If you book driving lessons with ACE Driving School you will get free help for both parts of the theory test, and you will continue to get free help until you pass. This includes the loan of a CD-ROM and a DVD, or the loan of a book with all the questions and answers in.

PASS PLUS
A course for those who already have a full driving licence covering 6 training modules including driving in town, bad weather conditions, rural driving, night time driving, driving on dual carriageways and finally driving on motorways. The course uses continuous assessment. This certificate will earn you a substantial discount on your insurance premium from one of the companies in the scheme.

FLEET DRIVER TRAINING
A course for companies with a number of drivers on the road. The roads are getting busier and the cost of everything is going up including insurance premiums. This course is designed to reduce your insurance premiums. Once all your drivers have passed our Fleet Driver Training course, your insurance premium will go down.

MINIBUS DRIVER TRAINING
If you passed your driving test after 1997, you may not have entitlement to drive a minibus. To drive a vehicle with more then 9 seats on the roads legally, you now have to pass a minibus driving test.
