winning and keeping customers

I went to Tideswell the other day to give a talk on Making Marketing Work for Small Businesses.  I met a lovely group of entrepreneurs who are good at doing what they do as a business, plus simultaneously having to manage the constant battle of winning and keeping customers.

There are so many distractions for small business owners, especially as marketing fashions come and go.  And short of time, and possibly marketing expertise, they find themselves at the mercy of well-intentioned advice.

Social networking is causing quite a buzz at the moment and many small businesses don't know if they should be jumping on the bandwagon or not.  If you are a DIY marketer, please bear in mind that whilst these tools are free of charge they can require a lot of time; a commodity that most small business owners are a bit short of.

If you are spending precious time or money sorting out your website, Google Adwords, online social networking,  blogging, sending out e-Newsletters,  getting testimonials and driving Word of Mouth marketing,  I seriously think you should be talking to us about being on thebestof and having it all taken care of in one of our affordable marketing packages.
