Matlock Rugby Festival

My 5 year old son has been enjoying having rugby coaching. In our household this seems to be a father/son activity of a Sunday morning, but on the occasions I stood in it was freezing and I was grateful for the hot cuppa and a bacon sandwich. The Matlock Rugby festival sounded like a huge success with teams coming from far and wide. Well done to all the organisers and volunteers. In our household the Rugby Festival marked the end of the season as the final Sunday 'fun' session in Ashbourne had to missed because of chickenpox.

I have already been to our local cricket club and the warm weather made watching much more pleasant - except for the midges! I am not coming across in this piece as an outdoors type, but actually I am! I just need the right gear.
