1 November to 23 December - A Candlelit Christmas, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen

Chatsworth House is planning to transform itself into a magical fairytale world to evoke the much-loved story of Hans Christian Andersen, The Candles.   There will be beautiful traditional Christmas decorations in the grand rooms on the two lower floors of Chatsworth House. 

Evening opening dates
26 & 27 November, 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 & 18 December 2009 offer the chance to see Chatsworth dramatically lit up against a night sky.  There will be the opportunity for a house visit; live music; festive food and drink and browsing the gift shops.
