Registered Charity No. 1121239 - Longridge Activities centre close to Marlow is a unique and magical adventurous activities centre.
Longridge Activities Centre is a registered charity providing water sport and land activities primarily for young people and their families. Although they open up the site to adult use when young people aren't using it. Longridge activities centre has extensive range of beautiful riverside meadows and islands on the banks of the Thames near Marlow. As well as activities, Longridge has a range of accommodation from campsites to single rooms.
Recognised by both the RYA and BCU, Longridge activities centre activities are managed by highly experienced instructors
Water based activities at Longridge include:
• Kayaking
• Canoeing
• Rowing
• Sailing
• Bell Boating
• Dragon Boating
• Rafting
• Sculling
Land based activities at Longridge include:
• Climbing
• High Ropes course
• Assault course
• Fully equipped camping areas
• A range of basic indoor accommodation
Visit Longridge activities centre near Marlow for all or part of the day, or stay at Longridge activity centre from one night to fourteen.
Longridge activity centre guests have the options to cook for themselves or take advantage of our catering facilities.
Located close to Marlow, Longridge activities centre welcomes a range of users including:
• youth organisations
• families
• schools and colleges - who can use the Longridge activities centre at all times,
• other interest groups and corporate bodies - who are welcome in the summer mid-week or out of season at any time.
The latter group use Longridge activities centre for personal and team development exercises as well as team meetings and training sessions
Longridge activities centre has run for 50 years, but now needs to radically improve his facilities and activities and is looking to raise £3m over the next 5 years, which will enable more people to use the centre, more often and for more of the year. You can help in a number of ways, by using the centre, volunteering or making a donation.
