Youngsters under 12 years are being offered a free Sunday lunch in Bowaters restaurant during March and April. One child can eat for free dining from the children’s menu with every full paying adult but the offer excludes Mother’s Day, 3rd April, and Easter Sunday, 24th April.
For starters the Sunday lunch menu might include a terrine of poached salmon or pressed ham hock, while there’s always a traditional roast for the main course such as sirloin of Scottish beef plus a fish dish and vegetarian option. The dessert choice could include a classic lemon tart, vanilla cheesecake, chocolate mousse or an English cheese selection. All this is priced at £31.50 for two courses or £36.50 for three.
Open every day for lunch and dinner, except Sunday evening, Bowaters also offers outside dining on the terrace when the sun shines. You can enjoy fantastic views of the river, Marlow Bridge and the parish church, which are romantically lit at night casting rippling beams on the water. Lunch Monday – Saturday is just £19.95 for two courses.
Although the children eat free offer isn’t valid on Mother’s Day both Bowaters and the other Restaurant in The Macdonald Compleat Angler, Aubergine are giving a families a helping hand. Both restaurants will be offering a three-course lunch priced at £47.50 per person including a gift for mother; youngsters under 12 years can dine at half price or choose dishes from a special children’s menu.
Alternatively, your mother can enjoy a family afternoon cream tea served in Bowaters restaurant with scones, finger sandwiches, home-made cakes and a choice of tea varieties at £18.90 per person, or with a glass of chilled champagne at £29.
