I would like to publically thank the Crowne Plaza Marlow for hosting a great networking evening for thebestofmarlow last night. Our usual evening with the bestof format is to provide a meeting place for local businesses to connect wth each other over a glass of wine and some nibbles. We keep the speeches to a minimum by giving the host of the venue a chance to talk and to pass on any news about the bestof. Last night the Crowne Plaza opted out of talking but provided an interactive demonstration. We still had wine but we made the canapes ourselves after Stuart Hine the Executive Chef showed us how. We made crab risooto balls, my personal favourite, liver pate tarts and cream cheese on pumpernickel bread. All were really delicious.
I would also like to thank Nicola Grant, the marketing co-ordinator who did such a lot to make the evening happen and then was unable to make it.
