Crowne Plaza Marlow recognised by Tourism South East for outstanding commitment to service, facilities and access for all guests.
Crowne Plaza Marlow is very proud to receive the Silver Award for Access for All Tourism. The hotel’s superb service, facilities and access for all guests were recognised at Tourism South East’s prestigious Beautiful South Award for Excellence ceremony at Mercedes Benz World, Surrey.
The awards now in their 20th year attracted record entries and stiff competition amongst entrants across the south East region in 19 categories. The hotel has eight fully accessible bedrooms located on the ground floor close to reception and the other public areas. Half of the rooms benefit from interconnecting rooms for a carer and there is a choice between specialist bath or shower. Each room has wider doorways, 1500cm wide bed, adequate space either side of the bed and for manoeuvring in the bathroom. TDD/ text telephone, visual fire alarm notification and closed caption TV. Available on request are induction loops, wheelchair and specific equipment.
The hotel also benefits from blue badge parking next to front door, no kerbs or steps to front door. All guest facilities including bar, restaurant and swimming pool are on the ground floor and do not require steps to be negotiated. The first floor conference suites are accessible via a lift and have accessible toilets within the complex.
