Beer Festival at Crowne Plaza Marlow 30th and 31st May 2010 a superb two day event for all the family.

This Whitsun Bank Holiday look no further than the May Beer Festival at Crowne Plaza Marlow for two full days to celebrate our national favourite – beer.  Sample 9 beers from our local breweries including Marlow’s own Rebellion Brewery, Vale, Chiltern, plus others.  Corona Beer is the main sponsor bringing along their yellow promotions bus complete with VIP section and plenty of beer!

What more could you ask for..?  Well some entertainment for the kids, so you will be pleased to learn that we have called in the experts and the lawn will be covered with activities for children (and the odd activity for the grown ups as well).

Stuart our Executive Chef and his team of award winning chefs know that beer makes you h-u-n-g-r-y so they are preparing the most amazing BBQ and Hog Roast for you, the challenge is to see if you can finish the pig.

MarlowFM your local community radio station is also proud to bring along their road-show to set the mood and on Monday will host a stage for local bands.  Come along to support your online radio station as it prepares to launch onto the airwaves early 2010.

Watch out Girls Aloud… move over Leona Lewis… Crowne Plaza Marlow is hosting a regional heat of The Talent Tour to search for the stars of tomorrow.  This is your very own chance to enter the national Talent Tour competition on Monday 31st May, open to anyone, any age; singer-song writers, singers accompanied by backing tracks, either their own or supplied for them and of course bands.  There will be a super stylish recording studio on the lawn at the hotel and plasma screens so your supporters can see you make your recording.  Rockhopper who run The Talent Tour can even supply all the guitars and drums a band would need if necessary.  If you want to register to show us your musical talent, please visit www.thetalenttour.co.uk and search for Marlow 31st May.

Don’t despair if the sun chooses not to shine or perish the thought it rains – in true British style we will still have our May Beer Festival but in the comfort of our Conservatory and agua café bar.

Entry to the May Beer Festival is free on both days, doors open from midday - we look forward to seeing you.

Keep an eye out for the Corona Bus on Saturday 29th May, we will be touring around the local towns.  If you see us out and about come over and say ‘I love Corona’ for your chance to win prizes.
