Are you thinking of making your own Christmas Decorations?

So it's October, the weather is awful, the nights are drawing in and Christmas Goods are appearring on the shelves.  In the past couple of days in Marlow I've spotted Advent Calendars, tins of Roses & the tubes of sweets you only get at Christmas.  Visiting a well-known Department store earlier in the week they were putting out their Christmas Decorations.

It's at this stage when there are weeks to go that creating soomething yourself for Christmas seems so appealling. Magazines are full of clever ideas and I always think it would be fun to try some of the things in them.  However if you are like me the finished article is often nothing like the picture because often the author can't convey exactly how to achieve something. Luckily there are courses you can attend to help you create something unique.

If your aim this year is to make your own Christmas Wreath or Table Decorations help is at hand from Richard Elder Floral Design, based at Stubbings Nursery near Marlow.  Join Richard and his team on either 5th or 12th December to learn how to make a Christmas Wreath.  Attend the course on 15th December and come away with Christmas Table Decorations.

I have had several bouquets of Flowers from Richard Elder Floral Design and the are spectular, innovative and long-lasting. When I met Richard earlier this year he was happy to share his expertise with me and answer questions about the designs he produced for my Birthday party. If I've tempted you into giving these courses a try more details can be found on our bestofmarlow events page.
