Why not escape from the football mania that is just starting this week and grab some sunshine in aide of good causes.
The carnival procession is planned to start around 12.00pm and will finish in St Mary's Road where the static events such as foootball for the children, Jurassic Leicestershire and of course the float judging will take place.
So even if you want to see the football you could still manage to support the parade's charity raising and enjoy the sunshine first.
