You MUST try this restaurant!! There is nowhere to match this restaurant in Thanet or, for that matter, the whole of Kent. On my last visit my family and I enjoyed an “18 course feel good meal” and it was the most memorable experience I have had in a restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect, service wonderful and the contemporary cuisine is really something special. The little food touches between courses are so exciting. They now have special events such as wine-tasting and cooking sessions on Sundays. I cannot recommend this place enough.

How do you say "haute cuisine" for indian restaurantsʽ Portions are not huge - but that allows you to enjoy a fantastic meal and feel satisfied in a real sense. A great experience. I still enjoy more usual Indian restaurants but you HAVE to try this place.

This is not a Curry House !! This is exceptional food, well prepared and different to the normal perception of Indian cuisine. You are unlikely to get your Onion Bhajees and Bombay Potato here, although there are some traditionally recognised dishes available. Instead you get fresh local vegetables (in season) done is a blend of spices that tease the pallette. Shanks of Lamb done is herbs and spices, Butter Chicken, Gressingham Duck, Soft shelled crabs in season and too many other treats to mention.
The presentation is amazing, something you would only expect to find in high class London Indian restaurants.
The quality is that good that we have not used another Ethnic restaurant for months. We have personally recomended the Indian Princes to our friends and all have come back with positive reviews.
Donʼt just read this - try it. You wonʼt be displeased.

We discovered this wonderful Indian restaurant through the following blog where there are more details.
http://www.new2margate.com/blog05.html

Weʼve now eaten at The Indian Princess several times, taking friends too, and the food, and service, has always been fabulous. It certainly isnʼt typical Indian food. This truly is gourmet Indian food, at approx £20 per person including wine. I canʼt recommend any one dish because it would be impossible to choose!

There arenʼt many decent restaurants in Margate but this one, and The Bangkok Thai are thoroughly to be recommended.

Yes i am writing again..... We have now been to ʼThe Indian Princessʼ for the fouth time and the level of service, quality of food has continued at an extemely high standard. Many people we have spoken to have the same impression as we have. We have taken many couples which have visited us in Marget to this restaurant and they have been as impressed as us. Outstanding.

Myself and Husband went on the of chance to ʼThe Indian Princessʼ. We had no reservation, however we were greeted with excellent customer service throguhout the meal experience and food was exceptional. We have been married for 12 years and i have never heard my husband use the work ʼdelightfulʼ but after his food this word flowed along with the wine. On Arrival we were given welcome drinks and petit fours between each course. Outstanding.

We booked a table here during their seafood festival. It was absolutley delicious. The prawns baked in Coconut was one of the nicest meals I have ever had.
