Martha Trust is a group of 3 residential homes, Martha House, Frances House and Mary House, they give lifelong care for young people and adults with profound learning disabilities.
Founded in 1983 the care homes provide a warm, caring atmosphere and stimulating environment, helping children and adults to reach their full potential.
Martha House and Frances House are set in the beautiful Deal countryside close to the neighbouring towns of Sandwich, Canterbury and Margate and cater for 12 adults and 5 young people.
Mary House in Hastings East Sussex first opened its doors to 2 residents in 2005 and is now home to 8 young adults with profound learning disabilities.
Martha Trust is a Charitable Organisation, the staff work tirelessly to raise money to maintain and improve the facilities of all 3 residential care homes but more donations are needed.
Social Services and local Health Authorities provide the major part of the funding but it costs approximately £2.3 million to care for the residents per year so donations are very much needed.
