Whether you have the voice of an angel or can barely hold a tune, if you LIKE singing, then that's all that matters to the Rock Choir.

Established in 2005, the organisation has rapidly grown to become a nationwide phenomenon, securing a four album record deal and a much acclaimed television documentary along the way. Countless guest TV and radio appearances, live stage events including supporting The Soldiers in their performances, and not one but TWO Guinness World Records is testament to the organisations' growth and staying power.

Rock Choir is not a franchise – it’s a family-led organisation fondly referred to as 'The Peoples' Choir.' Perfect for those who love to sing but have never sung en masse, or indeed outside their own shower, the emphasis is on fun, friendship and community, not vocal talent (although there is plenty to be found).

Rock Choir is for all ages, children, adults and teenagers - and all levels of ability. If you love pop, gospel and Motown music - if you want to be part of a fun and lively community and build friendships and self confidence then this could be just what you're looking for.

"Smiles: that’s what strikes you most about Rock Choir. Beaming, joyful faces fill every shot as the 8000 exuberant members make their way to Wembley arena for a singing extravaganza... Singing en masse is obviously a powerful experience... It makes you feel like singing in the rain – or just smiling!"

Jane Rackham, Radio Times, 25th June – 1st July 2011.

You can 'try before you buy' at one of the Rock Choir's Taster Sessions – simply take part in a normal rehearsal, no spotlight or auditions, and have a chat with the Choir Leader about the joining process.

Rock Choir is now operating at several venues in Manchester, all of which can be found on our Events Page, with the promise of more to come in the future.
