Bonfire Night is fast approaching and if you're looking to celebrate this sparkling evening Manchester really does have a great variety of displays this year.
Wrap up warm and brave that autumn chill as parks across the city prepare for an evening of traditional family fun and spectacular fireworks displays.
Here at thebestof manchester we can't wait for Bonfire Night (treacle toffee anyone? Yummy!) and we're all in agreement that's it's best to try and go to an organised display if you can. Organised displays tend to be safer, have lots more to do and it's much less stressful for pets and wildlife.

28 October, family funfair starts from 5.30pm, fireworks 7.30pm, bonfire 7.45pm.
Cringle Park
1 November, entertainment starts at 5pm, fireworks 7.30pm.
Philips Park
2 November, Family funfair on Eastlands (formerly Sportcity) car park 2, family funfair 5.30-9pm, fireworks 7.30pm.
Crumpsall Park
1 November, family funfair 6-8.30pm, fireworks 7pm.
Brookdale Park
2 November, family funfair 6-8.30pm, fireworks 7pm.
Heaton Park
5 November, family funfair 5.30-9.30pm, fireworks 7.30pm and bonfire 8pm.
Platt Fields Park
5 November, family funfair 5.30-9.30pm, fireworks 7.30pm and bonfire 8pm.
Wythenshawe Park
5 November, family funfair 4-9pm, fireworks 7.30pm and bonfire 8pm.
All of the Bonfire Night events listed above are free to enter but donations to Friends of the Park groups or Park Trust on 5th November events would be appreciated. All money raised from these events will help to fund future activities in the park and help to make next year's Bonfire Night celebrations bigger and better!
