Established in 1879 The Worcestershire Golf Club is the oldest club in Worcestershire and the 5th oldest in England. Nestled at the foot of the Malvern Hills surrounded by magnificent views this Golf Club is recognised to be one of the premier courses in the Midlands.
The course was originally laid out on Malvern Common but moved to its present location at Wood Farm in 1927, where Dr. Alistair Mackenzie a renowned golf course architect set out the course in 120 acres of mature parkland. The Worcestershire Golf Club in Malvern is a private club but always provides a warm welcome to visitors who wish to enjoy this beautifully presented course.
During 2001 a new clubhouse was built providing a modern and relaxed atmosphere for members and guests to enjoy after a round of golf. The main social area of the clubhouse is well designed and spacious with a large main bar that over looks the 18th green. The Worcestershire Golf Clubs' dining area is popular with members for lunch and dinner where there is an excellent variety of high quality hot and cold food. On the first floor you can rest in the spacious lounge where there are comfortable armchairs and settees, or perhaps enjoy a game of snooker in the snooker room.
