Rarely open to the public, this December, the Archbishops Palace in Maidstone is giving the general public the opportunity to see inside for the first time in a number of years. An ideal time to come and see the Palace at its best in all its festive glory, why not soak up the heritage and atmosphere of one of Maidstone's most historic buildings.

Formerly the residence of the Archbishops of Canterbury during the fourteenth century, the Archbishops Palace still retains many of its original historic features. Situated on the banks of the River Medway in Maidstone it's also the perfect setting today for a civil ceremony wedding, offering a range of splendid ceremony rooms and the beautiful Apothecary's Walled Garden, the perfect backdrop for the photographs.

Archbishops Palace on Mill Street, Maidstone will be open on the 3rd December 2011 from 11:00 to 16:00. Entrance is FREE.
