During a meeting with a client yesterday the subject got round to how to promote their New Year's Eve event on thebestof. Help where has the year gone? However it prompted me to think about the next few months and the ways we can help promote local events.
While I know the hospitality industry work many months ahead now is the time to start promoting Autumn events. In the next few months we have Halloween events and Firework displays. Shortly after that the Christmas Fairs will be in full swing. Many of these events are held to benefit local charities and organisations and often raise a lot of much needed funds.
At thebestofmaidenhead we will promote these events for free. Local organisations such as Norden Farm and WAMSAD regularly add their events to our pages to raise awareness of their events. as well as our events page we send a weekly events newsletter to an ever increasing number of local people. A local charity have recently raised a lot of money at a Family Fun Day that they have attributed to the exposure they received from thebestof.
