Maidenhead singer bids for Eurovision Place

I can't believe it's that time of year again.  A time for the nation to vote and decide who we want to represent us in the Eurovision Song contest. Tomorrow night BBC1 will screen a 90 minute special to decide who will represent the UK this year.  Viewers in Maidenhead will have a reason to watch and vote as a local singer is bidding for the honour.  Local Maidenhead girl, Gemma Sampson will be singing with her band Miss Fitz in the show "Your Country Needs You".

After Andrew Lloyd Webber's efforts to get us back to wining form last year, Pete Waterman and Mike Stock have composed this year's entry.  I heard on the Radio this morning that it is a very "Europop" song and it will be heard for the first time on tomorrow's show.

So good luck Gemma and Miss Fitz.  If you live in Maidenhead don't forget to vote for them.
