A new community partnership of key political figures, local council chiefs and businesses from across Macclesfield are working together to 'create a difference' to the quality of life in the town, now and in the future.

The 'create a difference' project aims to create a set of values and visions for Macclesfield that will guide all of us to ensure we carry on supporting the local community and environment.

Supported by local MP David Rutley, the Mayor of Macclesfield David Neilson, Cheshire East Council, Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce, Macclesfield Town FC and The Best of Macclesfield, amongst others, the main part of the project will take the form of a mass survey of local residents, business owners and local government.

From young to old, male and female, every person who lives, works or visits Macclesfield will be asked to give their input on how the town could be improved, what areas it needs to improve on and how the community can achieve greater success in the future.

An exciting opportunity to make a real difference to life in Macclesfield, create a difference is asking local people to visit their website and give their thoughts on a wide range of questions relating to local issues, ideas and challenges.
