Offering free information and advice for older people, their families and carers, a range of healthy lifestyle activities, home helps and respite sessions, we are committed to meeting the ever-changing needs of a population that is not only growing, but also living longer.

Our Aim

From offering practical help to organising regular social events, Macclesfield charity, Age Concern East Cheshire, aims to make later life as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible.

The Macclesfield charity:

• Offers support through free advice and information centres

• Promotes independent living through a range of courses, healthy living activities

• Provides practical help at home or in day centres

• Supports the families and carers of frail and vulnerable residents in Cheshire East through respite sessions

• Offers a range of insurance and energy products that have been designed to save money, reduce users' environment impact and increase older people's personal and financial security

• Engages the community and bring the generations closer through a range of fundraising activities and events

As one of the leading charities in the region, Age Concern East Cheshire provides a wide range of services that are designed to improve older people's quality of life, including:
