It's 2011, the VAT has gone up and the press are filling us with doom and gloom...
Well, you know what? It's not all bad... There's lots and lots of local businesses giving their customers a fantastic service and I want to shout about that!
I'm Carol, I run thebestoflutterworth, and our job is to connect with you, the local community, to see which businesses you love, that are the best at what they do, and then recommend them to everyone else in the area!
I'm passionate about what I do - I live in the area, I care about what happens here and I always do my best to work with local people, businesses and community organisations to help everyone succeed.
I want to enable the very best local businesses to succeed by flying the flag for them. And I want to give local people the chance to have their say about what they think is the very best of this area. Most of all I want to work with this community to connect people and businesses together for the mutual benefit of all.
And don't forget, this is not just for Lutterworth itself, but also all the lovely villages in and around the area, from the larger places like Broughton Astley & Cosby to the tiny tucked away Magnas, Parvas etc. If you know of a special business out there that you love, I need to hear from you!
