‘Sounds of Christmas’ will be held in St Mary’s Church on the evening of Saturday 29th November and will bring together The Wycliffe Drama Group, local ladies choir, ‘Rockapellas’ and the Lutterworth Town Band for an evening of the best of music, song, drama, poetry and prose on a Christmas theme. Betjeman; Dickens and Dylan Thomas will vie with Christmas poems, not to mention Cliff Richard and Irving Berlin’s ‘White Christmas’, whilst the Town Band will be playing all the favourite Christmas carols and accompanying the audience as they sing along.

The concert begins at 7.30pm and tickets are £8.00 (to include a glass of wine or soft drink). They are available from John Wells & Son, Station Road Lutterworth; Rotary Member Graham Johnson (01455 552991) or Tony Hirons (01455 556616).

The concert has been organised by Lutterworth Rotary Club with all proceeds going to Lutterworth Museum and Lutterworth & District Foodbank.

It promises to be an evening to remember. I do hope you can join us along with your friends.
