Chef Jian Lu had many years' experience at 5-star hotels in Shanghai and Hong Kong before coming to the Royal Chequers.
The menu is wide and varied, with Chinese restaurant favourites like Crispy Aromatic Duck and Cantonese Char Siu alongside more unusual choices such as Grilled Salmon Fillet with Teriyaki Sauce and Sea Spiced Aubergines.
