What size skip do I need?
We have skips for all kinds of jobs and will help you choose the right one when you book, but as a guide:
2 cubic yards
Mainly used for small house or garden jobs and can take around 20-30 bin bags.
4 cubic yards
Ideal for kitchen and bathroom refits, can take 30-40 bin bags
6-8 cubic yards
Popular-sized builders’ skips suitable for bulky waste, can take 50-80 bin bags
10-14 cubic yards
For large jobs and house clearances, can take 80-140 bin bags. Not suitable for soil, rubble etc. due to weight restrictions.
How soon can I get a skip delivered?
We can generally have a skip at your home the day after you call, sometimes the same day if necessary!

Skip Hire for Trade Users
As well as the normal skips mentioned above, we have RORO containers for hire in sizes of 16, 25 and 45 cubic yards. You can either hire the container and we'll drop off and pick-up, or you can hire the container plus a vehicle by the day.
For further convenience, we have a 7½ tonne tipper vehicle available for a 'wait and load' service in Loughborough, if a regular skip container cannot be used.
Also we are able to supply recycled hardcore and screened soil from our own facility at grat prices.

Having been established since 1948 we know everything about waste management and are fully up-to-date with recycling legislation. We run our own recycling and waste management centre in Loughborough and see ourselves as pioneers in reducing the amount of land-fill in Leicestershire. We offer even more competitive prices for the return of segregated materials to encourage recycling.
We are approved suppliers to Charnwood Borough Council, William Davis and David Wilson homes among many other local firms.
Scrap Recycling
Here at TBD Morris we can provide skips and/or lidded bins to best suit your scrap metal processing requirement. We will provide a no-obligation, on-site survey in Loughborough to advise you of the best methods of recycling and will pay cash for your scrap metal!
We are also authorised to dismantle and recycle cars, and have facilities to dispose of and recycle car tyres.
