Today we used Matt's services for the 3rd time and I can honestly say he is the most genuine businessman we have ever dealt with. I contacted M J Fisher in reference to viewing a vehicle that I proposed to buy from a Loughborough based dealer. Being from Gloucestershire, I wanted a local repututable mechanic to look over the vehicle independantly prior to parting with a sizeable amount of money. M J Fisher agreed to meet me at the dealership, and quoted a very reasonable fee to do this inspection for me. Prior to my journey to Loughborough, M J Fisher (thankfully) looked into the car dealer on my behalf. It transpired that the dealer was not reputable or trustworthy, and with his expertise and experience, for-warned me of the company I was about to exchange £16k with. I thank M J Fisher for his support, professionalism and honesty. I would wholeheartidly recommend him to anyone.

I have to say that, I found him to be very honest, open, very friendly and above all, extrememly professional in his approach and handling of all matters. i had a problem with my vectra engine not running correctly. After being ripped off to the tune of £150 by a so called mobile mec. i gave Matt a call came over the next day did diagnostic on car found fault ( which was not what i had had done ) booked me in next day replaced faulty part job done. Found Matt to be polite,trustworthy only wish i had have found him first, would definately recomend,,,

The service was excellent. I have a 13 year old nissan so we have had a few problems with it over the last few months. These have always been sorted out effectively and at a very good price. We also had our car serviced and this was also excellent.

What can i say Matt was simply great he changed the suspension arms on my bmw quickly and charged only what he had quoted.. a rare thing nowadays.He also helped me out when i had an electrical problem he didn't just changed the broken part he checked and replaced the associated wiring that had also become damaged. a very thorough job.. My car is my livelihood and so time can be a bit tight. Matt is true to his word and finished 20 minutes earlier with major maintenance on my Mercedes. Reliable, thorough professional and a nice guy with it! Following a fuel mix up we searched the net for a mobile mechanic, we came across M J Fisher and decided to try him after reading some of these testemonials. He was prompt, courteous, rang back when he said he would, gave us a very accurate estimate, and although he didn't do the work himself he referred us to a colleague who fixed the problem in 24 hours at less than half the price our insurance company quoted us and in less than half the time it would have taken them, a breath of fresh air to the industry, will definately use again!
M J Fisher have, without question, restored my faith that there are examples of excellent customer service out there. They are a shining light. Carrying out work at the agreed time for the agreed cost should seem straightforward but we've all come to learn that isn't the case but M J Fisher were superb and a credit not only to the company themselves but to Loughborough and the surrounding area. The work was carried out to a very high standard but with the added benefit of ethics which we're not accustomed to these days. If I were to take someone to a company who are standout in their customer service it would be M J Fisher, a company I had never known before this transaction. Matt arrived promptly and worked on our car on the side of the road, even through the rain. He fixed what we had asked him to, then proceeded to try and solve the problem which had led to the initial probem and he wasn't happy that, although he had completed the work we had asked him to complete, he wasn't able to sort the car completely. He even tried to source the parts (which are pretty much unavailable new). Wouldn't hesitate to use him again and have recommended him to several people at work - saw him where I work the other day fixing someone elses car. Very highly Recommended

Matt came out to look at our Renault Clio he was very helpful and took his time looking at every possible thing that could be the problem. He then gave us all the options and told us roughly how much it would cost us to repair the things that were wrong. He doesn't use technical jargon and he will explain things in detail which in my experience most garages don't do. He seemed to really care about the job and providing good service. He was a very polite, helpful person, smart appearance and seems to care about each job he does. We will definitely be using him again for our other cars and I really like the fact we don't have to go to a garage ever again.

Excellent service. Replaced rear break pipe of my BMW on my drive, then arranged and took it for it's MOT, which I knew would fail, got the work done that day, re-tested and passed. Matt was great!!! My 307HDi got a problem with engine fuel pipes and would not start. Called Matt and got the problem identified and fixed, fantastic job and in a very reasonable price. I can't fault the service. I was able to continue working without much interruption; I handed Matt the keys, quickly briefed him and left him to it. When completed, Matt demonstrated the effective repair, explained clearly what the problems were and was able to take card payment. I would have spent a lot longer on the alternative. I.e. travelling to and from a garage.

Rang Matt Fisher to solve an electrical fault with my car. He turned up, found out what was causing the problem, went out and personally picked up the necessary part,and then fitted the part all well within two hours. Had I not called him it would have taken at least the weekend and a lot of messing around with recovery. Just had a second visit from Matt, a follow up to an earlier diagnosis of a faulty alternator. Matt has just fitted a replacement alternator, which I supplied, on my Pajero - a tricky job owing to the position and complexity of the unit. Matt did the work in a totally prompt and efficient manner. He is one of the nicest people to meet and I thoroughly recommend him for any vehicle problems you might have.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS BEST. Looking for a honest, reliable, friendly, efficient, competent vehicle technician then look no further. I decided to service my daughters Ford KA last Saturday (never again). I changed the oil filter, oil and air filter. As I attempted to remove a spark plug that had become corroded within the cylinder head it snapped off. Knowing this would require work beyond my capabilities I looked up M.J.Fisher and called. Though not at work Matt answered my call and to cut a long story short during the next few days removed the cylinder head removed the remaining plugs that were also corroded in and fixed the car. At all times he kept me informed was pleasant extremely helpful and got the car back on the road as fast as he could and at a very reasonable price. This guy is brilliant.
I always used local garages for car servicing until my brother told me about Matt Fisher. He said that Matt serviced cars at your home and that he would always advise you before carrying out any work that required expensive parts and that he was competitively priced.After having a little "shock" at my last garage bill what did I have to lose? I have to say after Matt has now serviced and MOT'ed both our cars that we are absolutely delighted. If you have a problem with it, Matt seems to have a knack of knowing what needs to be done to your car before it he looks at it and he always keeps you informed of what is needed. This builds confidence in him and his work. Being so young he has a very good customer service head on his shoulders and running a Mystery Shopping Company myself, I have had dealings with good and bad companies. Matt comes into neither camp, He is better than good, he is excellent, and he can always be relied upon to do what is needed without charging over the odds for the work he carries out. We called Matt to carry out a 30,000 mile service on our SSangyong - Had spoken to the SSangyong garage who were going to charge in the region of £600. Matt completed the service at our home in a couple of hours and saved us loads of money. After finding oil in my coolant I spoke to Matt. He came the same day and explained what the problem could be. He found that the oil cooler had failed and sorted everything out for me. Another garage said it was probably the head gasket so Matt may have saved me a needless head gasket repair bill. Since fixing it, the car is running great and I am very happy. Matt is a great, friendly guy and very good at his job. 100% recommended!
I asked Matt to carry out the MOT for my car, he collected the car from my home at the appointed time and returned it too me just over an hour later with a new 12 month 'ticket'. I found Matt to be reliable, honest and his prices were very favourable over garage based services, he carried out a diagnostic on my cars fault code and explained the problem to me perfectly. I will definately be calling Matt again whenever my car needs any service or repairs.

I was looking for a mobile mechanic in the area and came across MJ Fisher through the Best of Loughborough website. Matt's done a fantastic job on my boyfriend Lee's peugeot, as it needed a new head gasket and loads of other problems fixing. He worked long hours until the problem was found and sorted.Then Matt did a really good job when he realised my brakes need tweeking. I've been really happy with my car since Matt fitted new brake pads.Matt's always reliable, quick to help and is really decently priced, much better than garages where you get ripped off.I'll definitely go back to Matt for my service which is coming up!

I was given Matt's number by my housemate who called him out boxing day to fix an electrical fault. What dedication! Matt always puts his best efforts into his work and was more than happy to give me free advice on my power steering pump when it was making funny noises. I asked Matt to do an oil and coolant change on my Impreza WRX which I had just imported. When checking the car, he was very honest (unlike some cowboys!) and said that if anything, all that needed to be done to the coolant was to water it down a bit, as it was running too rich. In the end he only charged me for the oil change. Not only a great mechanic, but a very nice person as well. One of Loughborough's finest citizens. A*
I was passed matts number by someone i work with when he first set up to use. I did use him back then and ever since then i have used him and 2 different cars. Very reliable, very good on price always on time he states and anything he has done has most importantly been of a good standard. Would and have been reccommending him to anyone. The people i have already passed on his number too all have the same opinion as me. Definitely wont be going anywhere else.

What can I say? Rang Matt at 9 and by 11 he was in my street dealing with the problem. He was a true professional who clearly values his customers! He went and got the necessary part and was back within the hour to complete the job. The problem was that my throttle cable had completely frayed all the way through and I needed a new one. Matt charged me an excellent £45 for the whole thing including the new parts and labour and my car was up and running within 3 hours of me calling Matt and it never left my doorstep. Fully recommend the service and I will be getting my car serviced by Matt in the coming weeks.

Matt has been wonderful. He managed to get my P reg Citreon AX through an MOT for £200, even though it needed front and back brakes, a new tyre, a wheel cylinder and a cv boot kit. I have had him out to look at the heater on my car this week as it was just blowing out cold air (believe me, very dangerous in this weather). All sorted out for just £50. Matt came while I was work on both occasions and it was all up and running by the time I came home.I cannot recommend Matt enough, he is the best that you can find in Loughborough. He is an absolute star.
