"The quality of his workmanship I would happily say is second to none" - Ronald G

The best traditional carpentry and modern cabinet making techniques are combined to create the highest quality manufacturing methods. Every piece of furniture is handmade from start to finish by one cabinet maker, resulting in superb quality furniture you can be proud of.

  • Traditional dovetail and mortise-and-tenon joints are used to join surfaces.
  • Cabinet carcasses are made from solid wood or hardwood-veneered board.
  • Fascias and doors are solid fine hardwoods such as oak, cherry, tulip wood and alder.
  • Kitchen worktops can be crafted from wood, using special wide planks to bring out the natural beauty of the grain, or you can choose granite, marble, or any other material if you prefer.

The finished cabinets can be painted or left as natural wood, stained and oiled to protect it through daily use.

The Stables Kitchen

A simple, sleek design with chrome fixtures and fittings to add a modern touch. We used light coloured worktops to contrast with the dark colour of the units creating those crisp lines and a sense of space.

Pippy Oak Kitchen

A natural wood kitchen in traditional style. We used Pippy Oak, with its cats paws knot clusters which pepper the timber, to add intricate detailing which sympathises with the space’s oak beams as well as a large hand-painted island unit which adds contrast and colour.

Rose Cottage Kitchen

A slimline design to open up this space whilst disguising modern appliances behind traditional style cabinets. This shaker style kitchen carefully preserves the characteristics of this 1650s oak timber framed cottage whilst the occasional use of a bold colour creates an understated modern touch

Oakamoor Kitchen

A design which works with rather than against the space available. The white faux chimney breast complete with a traditional style over-mantle works to open up the cooking area whilst the wooden worktops add a touch of warmth to the room, complimented by the sleek grey cupboards which help add a contemporary flare.

European Oak Kitchen

A sleek, fitted kitchen with minimal wall cupboards to accentuate the sense of space. The detailing on the cupboards combined with the traditional fixtures and fittings preserves the characteristics of the former kitchen whilst the island unit accommodates the additional space whilst adding more storage and functionality.

Hand Painted Kitchen

A bright, modern kitchen with light Silestone worktops offers a simplicity which enhances the sense of space. A second window in this room was removed to gain some essential wall space but this bright design made sure the same level of light was preserved.

An Investment in Quality…

Handmade furniture of this quality can last a lifetime. As well as being a joy to use every day, a bespoke kitchen, bedroom or library will add significant value to a house. A handmade free-standing cabinet will stand the test of time and can be used and passed down through generations, long after the superstore MDF furniture has been consigned to the tip.

"I can guarantee that the same quality and service would cost considerably more with a larger more established company"- Alastair J

A 'secret advantage' of solid wood kitchens and bedrooms is that you can totally change the look of the furniture in the future by repainting, staining or sanding the wood. Handmade furniture lasts for years - fashions change, your style may change. Renovating a solid wood kitchen is a very quick and cost-effective way of updating the style.

Fitted Offices & Libraries

Anderson Reeve also create fitted offices and home libraries for home owners and businesses. As more people work from home they are understanding the value of a made-to-measure office space, which can be a whole room or just a 'nook' or space on a landing, making excellent use of dead space. And of course a real wood fitted office will add value to any home.
