Loughborough Building Society has launched a table-topping new discounted variable rate mortgage, with a rate of 2.69% for two years (2.30% discount), a maximum loan-to-value of 80%, and a fee of £495.
This is currently the best deal in the sector, where rates can be as high as 5.68%.
