Christmas Gift Ideas

There are lovely things for your home at Accent Interiors on Church Gate. The place to go for posh nosh is David North’s deli in Rothley, and while you’re out that way you could pick up a Christmas tree, free-range turkey and the freshest of veggies from Woodcock Farm Shop, also in Rothley.

If you’re playing it safe and thinking about buying some vouchers then you could do worse than vouchers for beauty treatments at Burleigh Springs (Loughborough) or Eden (Woodhouse Eaves), or holistic therapies from Ultimate Harmony (Quorn).

For the kids there are models galore at Kirk’s model shop in Shepshed – die-cast model cars, Airfix kits, Hornby trains and accessories, all that stuff. Try the very nice little café "Boulangerie Patisserie" nearby on the cut-through from the market place to the main road.

How about a classic present of a shiny new bike – aaah, takes me back to when I was 10. Bikes of all kinds are sold at Beacon Cycles (Derby Rd) and Pedal Power (Ashby Rd), both very near the town centre.

Don’t forget pooch – give the dog its very own Christmas trimming at Easterfields in Sileby.
