The Emergency Services Day on Sunday 29th July at 12 noon on the promenade at Llandudno is set to be an all action day with plenty to see and learn.
The RNLI and RAF will be present, staging an air sea rescue, North Wales Air Ambulance will be making a fly past. There will be static displays from all the emergency services.
A new, very important website will also be launched on the day by it's owner, Debbie Turnbull.
The site is :www.riverandseasense.co.uk and is an informative and instructional site targetted at young people to make them more aware of the dangers of inland waterways and coastal seas. Debbie was inspired to launch this website after the tragic death of her son, Christopher last year as a result of a river incident.
As a result of fund raising by Debbie and 'Chris Turnbulls Barmy Army' a new raft will be launched on the day for Ogwen Valley Rescue Team.
The TV and press will be present at the event.
