Award winning Chef

The Lilly is owned and managed by Award winning Chef Philip Ashe. He was previously the Exec Check at Ruthin Castle, where they won three Rosettes. He was also the Head Chef at The Quay Hotel when it opened. Philip bought The Lilly three years ago and since has been improving the restaurant constantly, bringing the quality up to his high standards.

Phil and his team believe that you will not find a better range of locally sourced quality food in the area. They server clever food, that isn't expensive.

Here are a few things you must try:-

Elwy Valley Lamb

Pretty much the best Lamb you can get. Served in Ramsey's restaurants, the G20 Summit and the Queen's birthday.

Topside of Welsh Wagyu Beef

They are the only restaurant in Wales to sell this dish. Served in Whitehall and famous throughout the UK

Wild Rabbit

Locally caught, fabulously cooked

These are just a few of the dishes that The Lilly are serving in their mission to build on the success of the team in the past and to make The Lilly their next Rosette winning this dining experience . From there they will be aiming to get the Restaurant approved by 'Michelin'.

When is food served?

It is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 6pm to 9pm. And open for Sunday lunch from 12pm to 3pm.

No meal is complete without a fine selection of wines and champagnes, varying from a simple favourite such as Pinot Grigio to some of the finest champagnes including Dom Perignon and Crystal. There are currently 150 bins available.
