Having read many positive reviews, we decided to have lunch here on a quiet mid-week day. The experience was totally positive and we fully intend returning when next in Llandudno. The Fish & Chips were very tasty and served in a clean, pleasant cafe. The waitress was very attentive and the Proprietor (Mr Steve Owen) even came across to ask us how we were enjoying our meals - A nice touch indeed.
This establishment serves fish and chips as we all remember from a bygone time and rightly deserves it's excellent local reputation.

Was stay at The Moorings and the owner said that we should try Fish Tram Chips for a sit down fish supper, well what a brilliant place. Excellent service lovely crips fresh batter wrapped around beautiful white fish, we washed it down with a lovely pint of cool lager. Life doesnt get better than this. I recommend Fish Tram Chips as a must visit when you are in Llandudno.

Oh my goodness - thank you, thank you Fish Tram Chips!

190 children and staff visited from our School in Staffordshire and we all received our orders, cooked to perfection and piping hot!

We don't know how you managed it but please thank all of your fabulous staff for a most sterling effort.

This really is the best fish and chip shop, we called in on the way to the Kings Head and had a brilliant meal. The batter was delicious and the cod was so white and tender. The owner really knows his stuff. The place was busy but it was really worth the wait to get such wonderful fish.

The Tramway fish and chip shop is the best of all the fish and chip shops. Although they are quite slow serving sometimes, they make lovely food.

The best Iʼve ever had. The chips are perfect as is the freshly cooked fish. Itʼs quite well hidden from the town centre, but the hike uphill will get your appetite ready for the feast to come.

Have now visited 6 times, and found fish Tram Chips to be truly exceptional for the following reasons:

Cleanliness, decor and general welcoming atmosphere.

Efficient and friendly staff.

Appropriate menu.

High quality fish and chips, superbly cooked, with "proper" mushy peas.

A good pot of tea, plus the lager nicely chilled and crisp and refreshing.
