From the moment we booked to the moment we vacated, Michael was the perfect host. We slept like logs in the comfy beds; enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast each morning and found the hotel ideally placed to walk into and from the centre of Llandudno. The Wifi was complimentary; a little slow in Room 11 but much faster downstairs in the bar and residents lounge (over looking the sea). We had 2 rooms at the rear of the hotel but you can choose rooms with sea views and all are excellent value. Staff are very friendly and accommodating; nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is immaculate and there are heavenly aromas near the inner hallway and lift. Michael made us feel at home and we are grateful to him for his kindness and understanding during our time of homelessness! We would not hesitate to stay again and again and again x

As soon as you walk into The Can-Y-Bae it feels warm and comfortable,Dave and Michael are fantastic hosts,nothing is too much trouble,you can rely on well cooked and well presented food,whenever we go we eat in because it is so good and always a vegetarian choice,tea or coffee(incl in price) can be served in the delightful lounge with the super sea views.
If you are ever stuck for somewhere to go Dave and Michael are very knowledgeable,Venue Cyrmu is a few mins walk away with lots to suit all ages.
The Can-Y-Bae is very clean and all you could ask for is provided,(even an iron and ironing board) I love It!!

Can-Y-Bae a fantastic place to stay! We have been to this hotel many times and always find it so relaxing. The food is excellent, a good choice at breakfast and also evening meal,we choose to eat in as we find it more relaxing, tea or coffee can be served in the hotel lounge which has a great view of the bay.There is a bar with a good choice of wine,beer etc,Dave and Michael are super hosts they do make you feel very welcome.The Can-Y-Bae Hotel is very clean and we find everything we need is provided even the ironing board!

Just had a very enjoyable stay and the Can-y-Bae. Good position on the promenade and near the theatre, swimming pool, and shops. Very clean, excellent breakfast and evening meal. Reasonable room rates, very friendly but professional nothing too much trouble. Liked the friendly relaxed bar/lounge in the evening. Will return and already have recommended Janet Jones

Comfort and cleanliness is available in many hotels, but what makes Can y Bae special is something you can never take for granted.....which is personal, friendly service direct from the owners. It's a matter of attitude, skill and judgement.....which Michael and David use to pitch their attention at just the right level.They simply make their guests feel happy to be there. Add that to a marvellous location and you have a recipe for success in a very competitive landscape. Well done!

I very much enjoyed a recent stay in Llandudno at the Can-y-Bae Hotel on the Prom. Room was very comfortable, overlooking the sea, and I could go straight out of the hotel and on to the Prom for a walk whenever I wanted to. The food was really excellent, and the owners make you feel very welcome with a personal greeting and the care given to guests.
