Aberconwy Sports Centre is a local leisure and recreation centre located on Morfa Drive, Conwy, not far from Llandudno.
Recently built to service the school in Conwy this leisure and recreation centre is also open to the public after school hours and during school holidays. Just a short drive from Llanduduno Aberconwy Sports Centre is easy to find (click on the map button) and has the benefit of a spacious car parking area right next to the premises.
The facilities at the leisure and recreation centre are impressive to say the least. The gymnasium/dance studio is very spacious and is equipped with all the traditional gym equipment along with large wall mounted mirrors for dance training. The very large and modern sports hall is equipped to handle all kinds of indoor sports including 5-a-side football, basketball and badminton to name but a few (contact Llandudno Junction Leisure Centre for out of hours bookings).
Outside there is a tennis court, a floodlit basketball court and floodlit astro turf pitch for football or hockey. Close by are grass football and rugby pitches with a fine view of the River Conwy and estuary, not many leisure and recreation centres can boast this!
