I am a customer of Utility Warehouse and I have to say that I had never heard of a portable internet phone line but what a fantastic thing! I get my broadband and telephone lines through UW and work from home. I travel to the USA at least twice a year and take my laptop & mobile phone with me as I need to keep in contact with customers. When I found out that I could take a small adapter with me, plug it in to my broadband connection abroad, and all calls would be chargeable just as if I was still in the UK I found it hard to believe. I would normally expect to have a phone bill of around £300 for each trip. Having spent several hours on calls during my last visit, I have nervously awaited the bill - all calls were entirely FREE. No international numbers to dial - and also saving money for friends and relatives who phoned me on that number and were also only charged for local calls on their bills. A fantastic genuine saving for me of around £600 per year on top of the other utility bill savings. For travellers abroad with access to the internet this has got to be the best thing ever invented!
