With classes on offer 6 days a week, which offer a wide variety of styles including Iyengar Ashtanga and Kundalini, as well as classes with visiting teachers, and also comprehensive teacher training, the Marie Quail Lisburn Studio must be the market leader in Northern Ireland for yoga. No visitor to Lisburn should miss this great opportunity.
I go to the Friday morning class with Paddy and thoroughly enjoy it. Paddy is an amazing teacher who ecourages and motivates everyone, regardless of ability. He is constantly checking and correcting postures but never makes you feel bad for lack of flexibility! He explains postures in a down-to-earth manner and has a great sense of humour. I recommend the studio to anyone interested in improving their physical and mental well-being.
Great classes, each its own ʼroad tripʼ, in which to stretch and work body and mind with highly qualified, intuitive teachers. Thoroughly enjoyable!
Iʼve been going to this yoga studio for 18 months, and from my first visit, the friendly, relaxed and professional attitude of the teachers has been to the forefront. Everyone works to their own level of ability, and there is no pressure on anyone to work to any specific standard. Newcomers of all ages are welcomed and encouraged, whether a complete beginner or someone with experience. If you want to improve your level of fitness, de-stress, improve your general health, or just enjoy an evening of yoga coming away relaxed and invigorated afterwards, this yoga studio is the place to go. Is it an always serious and sober place to beʽ No, your practice can be as concentrated as suits you, but thereʼs always room for some fun and a laugh from time to time for everyone!
