Angels Childcare is an independent day nursery and crèche offering superb childcare for children aged from birth to 5 years. Angels is recognised as one of the best childcare facilities in Lincoln and has received glowing reports from Ofsted.
The centre is currently graded by Ofsted as being 'Good' and was acknowledged as making fast progress towards 'Outstanding'. In their 2009 report Ofsted said "Angels Childcare is a particularly homely environment with strong relationships between staff and children, providing a welcoming environment for all children in their care."
Angels Childcare has been under new management for the last six months and many changes have been made to ensure that the children enjoy a fun, educational and supportive childcare provision. Kirstie, the owner and manager of Angels Childcare has an extensive business management background, is a mother of two children currently attending the nursery, and has a passion for providing the highest standards of childcare.
All childcare is provided in conjunction with parents wishes, and is aimed at the correct developmental stage for each child. The team at Angels are able to offer crisis care and have the knowledge and facilities to support children with Special Educational Needs.
Angels has a fun packed activity programme including weekly gym sessions to enhance balance, co-ordination, and gross motor skills. There are a wide range of interesting and colourful activities to join in with from parachutes and ribbon games to messy play.
Children are split into age groups with rooms for babies aged 0-16 months, toddlers aged 16-24 months, 2-3 years, and then 3+ years to school age. Each room is overseen by a nursery supervisor qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, and assisted by nursery nurses who all have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 and are working towards NVQ Level 3.
Angels Childcare provides healthy, nutritious food for children at all stages of weaning. Three meals per day can be provided including breakfast, lunch and tea, as well as two snacks, and water is freely available all day long. Angels Childcare can cater for children with special dietary requirements including food intolerances, vegetarian, vegan, coeliac and food allergies. Can't say enough about angels - Oscar loves going and it is a real home from home for him. They are supportive and flexible of everything we need. Oscar has really developed there and talks about the staff there as much as his friends. They are a brilliant team - very highly recommended!!
I cannot speak highly enough about the staff and environment at Angels. The staff are so friendly and treat the children with such love and care, it gives you the reassurance that your little precious is in the safest hands.
We searched around before our baby arrived, visiting a number of different nuseries and can honestly say that we were so much more impressed with what we saw at Angels. Since our little lad started there at 6 weeks old, it has been confirmed it was definitely the right choice... All the staff are so friendly and treat the children with loads of love, it really leaves you feeling that your little precious is in safe caring hands. Thank you to an awesome team!
Angels is a fantastic nursery with wonderful staff that I would highly recommend. They have excellent systems and routines in place, which ensure each individuals needs are catered for in a safe and caring environment. They have good purpose built facilities, both indoors and out, which means that everyday is a different adventure for your little one. Low staff turnover means very good continuity of care, and it is clear that the staff are happy and enjoy their work, which reflects in the whole atmosphere of Angels. My first son attended Angels for nearly four years, from baby to preschool, the exceptional care that he received whilst there, meant that I wouldn't have contemplated sending my second son anywhere else.
Our daughter has attended Angels since she was 5 months old. She has progressed from baby room to tweenies, toddlers and now a preschooler, the childcare here is second to none. All the staff have been fantastic throughout and always on hand to help. With our daughter going to school in September and helping her prepare for school, we'll still be touch with a new baby on its way.
My daughter started at Angels in January 2009. I was really nervous about leaving her for the first time but the staff at angels were sympathetic, supportive, helpful and patient (even with paranoid mummy phone calls only 20minutes after leaving my daughter!) They reassured me and gave me confidence to leave Isabelle. Isabelle, unlike her mother,had no worries. She loved angels from her first visit there was so much to look at and explore. She settled almost instantly and is always full of smiles for those who care for her. She has thrived since starting at Angels and loves her days in nursery.
After looking around several other nurseries, walking into Angels was fantastic. The friendly and welcoming staff are amazing, and being a first time mum they provide me with advice and guidance. My little boy has been there since April and has come on in leaps and bounds. He really looks forward to going to nursery which is a relief for me working full time knowing that he is in great care. I would recommend the nursery to anyone going back to work,they really put my mind at rest.
My little boy, Billy, has been attending Angels for 3 days a week since he was 5 months old and is now 2 and a half. Kirstie and all her staff are fantastic, always friendly and welcoming, creating a lovely, homely nursery. The care in each of the 3 rooms Billy has been in so far has always been of a very high standard and the staff are always happy to listen to any concerns or special requirements. Billy is always kept busy with lots of activities including painting, playing outside or running around in the regular gym sessions. I always know when I'm at work, Billy is in good hands.
My two children attended Angels until they started school. They where always happy and excited to go. Putting your children in nursery is a very traumatic experience for a parent but the staff at Angels did their up most for my children and me to create a welcome and secure atmosphere. I still recommend this nursery to anyone and I wish them all the best for the future, I could not have asked for a better start to my children's lives.
I have a 2year old boy, who had been to another nursery but I had to had take him out because of the problems within the nursery that they were unable to resolve to a standard I was happy with. So I was very unsure about placing my child into another nursery because of the problems I had before. I allowed my child to attend the Angels crèche for an hour, 3times a week so he was able to play and interact with other children but so I was in the same area if there were any problems, for my own piece of mind. By the second week of doing this my child loved to go so much I had to put him in the nursery. He kept asking when we could go back once we had left and the days he was not at the nursery he would ask about 10 times a day to go. This reassured me so much, the fact my child enjoys going so much I have never seen him so happy to go somewhere he runs off on his own we have no problems and he loves going. The only problem I have now is taking him home because he wants to stay so much. I would recommend this nursery to anybody, it is amazing and the children are looked after to the max. Its such a relief to find somewhere I am happy with and my son is happy with after the problems I had incurred before.
