The Classic Car Tour has been organised by Wolverhampton & South Staffordshire Car Club for Sunday 13th June 2021, giving classic car owners the chance to take to the roads to raise funds for The Community Foundation for Staffordshire.

The informal convoy (touring assembly) will enjoy an 80 mile route, starting in Lichfield at 9am and visiting places of local interest around the greater area of Cannock Chase. Including Shenstone, Stonnal, Whittington, Alrewas, Abbotts Bromley, Rugeley, Upper Longdon to Cannock Chase.

Drivers have entered from across the UK with a wide range of vehicles, including some historic and modern classics and a couple of American muscle cars.

A spokesperson for Wolverhampton & Staffordshire Car Club says: “We’ve been delighted by the response from classic car owners. The event is organised to celebrate the start of Covid-19 restrictions being eased, allowing drivers to wash off their cars and enjoy a morning at the wheel, demonstrating that we are alive, kicking and open for business!”

For more information on the event contact the team through their FaceBook page here.

Please give them a wave as they drive past!
