Beautiful Bird Decorating

Use lots of exciting craft materials to create your own beautiful bird to take away. 
Cost: A suggested donation of £1 per child, per activity is recommended

Bug Explorer Back Packs
Monday 16th to Friday 20 February 2015 

Use the equipment provided to discover the creepy ‘crawlies’ that like to call the woodlands at the Arboretum home.

 £3.00 + £5 (refundable) deposit

Den Building
Monday 16 to Friday 20 February 2015 
Use some of the natural materials found around our grounds to create your own ‘Den’. Please note: this activity is not facilitated. Visitors participate in this activity at their own risk.

Pond Dipping

February Half Term Activity Camp at JC Academy

Monday 16 to Friday 20 February 2015, 9am to 5pm

The kids will love this World Sports themed activity camp.  Each day offers a different country sport. Mexican Monday, Tunisian Tuesday, Welsh Wednesday, Turkish Thursday, Finnish Friday.  The kids will love it!

Mother Goose at Lichfield Garrick

Art Workshop at The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum

Tuesday 17th February, 6:30pm until 9:00pm

Create striking paintings and drawings in our monthly mixed media workshops, small, friendly sessions with a different theme each month

Cost  £10.00 per session including materials and refreshments. 


String Puppet Workshops at Beacon Park

Dates 18th and 19th February 2015, 10.00am to 11.30am,  11.30am to 1.00pm and 1.00pm to 2.30pm 

Learn how to make and use a simple String Puppet.

Aimed at ages 6 and up. 

Cost  £3.00 per puppet 


Half Term Kids Crafts at Erasmus Darwin House

Friday 20th & Saturday 21st February, 11am to 1pm

Erasmus Darwin House is excited to announce their half term Kids Crafts and Sweet Making activities.  Kids get the chance to play Willy Wonka by making their own delicious sweets. Double the fun will be had getting messy with crafts. Along with all of this, they will have the opportunity to explore the home of the great Scientist, Inventor and Grandfather to Charles, Dr Erasmus Darwin. They could even try out some of his inventions or build their own monster with our interactive computer game. 

Cost: £1 per child and booking is strongly advised. 


Midland Karting

For those who enjoy half term in the fast lane, why not take the kids to Midland Karting, open seven days a week they have lots of super events for adults and children alike.
